The Grand Cabin is a raised-roof, long-wheelbase version of the Toyota Hiace van, imported into Pakistan mainly from Japan. Unlike the smaller Hiace High-Roof or the older TRH200 models, the Grand Cabin gives you a proper standing-height cabin, individual reclining seats, curtain windows, roof-mounted AC vents, and often a small refrigerator or LED TV. It seats 12–14 passengers comfortably plus a driver, with dedicated luggage space at the rear.

What to Check Before Booking a Grand Cabin

Model year and condition. Insist on 2013 or newer for long tours. Ask for interior and exterior photos.
AC condition. Rear AC should be independent of the front. Confirm both work — critical in summer.
Seating configuration. Some Grand Cabins have 12 seats, some 14. Confirm exact count matches your group.
Luggage capacity. If you’re 12 people with 12 suitcases, you might need a roof carrier — mention this at booking.
Driver experience on your specific route. Karakoram Highway experience matters especially for Hunza/Skardu.
Fuel policy. Ours includes fuel in the tour price; some operators charge separately.
